Assassin's Creed Help?

Hello All,
When do I get the long sword in Assassin's creed? I have short blade, throwing knife, and hidden blade but I don't see long sword, so I am just wondering when do I get it and how can I equip it because all the buttons on d-pad are taken for feist, throwing knives, short blade and hidden blade so how do you equip long sword?

( the sword should be on the right hand side, and the throwing knifes should be under short blade. Hope it helps if not sorry)
