  1. You haven't forgotten about Asus' Eee Keyboard, right? First appearing at CES 2009, the oft-delayed, netbook-infused keyboard has popped up on the radar once again -- and this time you can actually whip out your MasterCard.

An interesting product. However, at this price I would expect Windows 7 and not XP. Also, it's been nothing but vaporware since 2009 and I'll believe it when I see it. It's one of those things you don't want to be the first on the block trying.
  3. That thing looks disgusting.

That thing isn't worth $600! $200-300 sounds more realistic, but even then this just doesn't seem worth it.

Regarding forking cash, I think that if you want it, it's not bad to order it now. The credit card won't be charged until it ships, and Amazon's policy is that if the price goes up, you still pay only $600, and if it goes down, you pay the new price. Of course it's possible that another store will have it cheaper when it arrives.

Regarding the device, yet, it's more expensive than I'd hoped. The specs are pretty old, and I'd have expected something better. I still think it's a cool idea. Hopefully it will turn out to have better specs.
