Asus Mobo installation constant beeping???

I just swapped out a gigabyte mobo for a asus. This is my first hands on time doing this, so i read the manual.
I have the mother board in place with the video card, ram, cpu, and power source plugged in. also power on switch, led's, speaker, and reset wires ect plugged in.
Ok now, when i turn the power source on the green light on the mobo lights up, nice, then when i power the tower on the cpu fan, fans, and computer powers up then all i get is a steady constant beep, beep, beep, and nothing on the screen.
That is my situation as of now, any suggestions?

Asus boards can be VERY PICKY about ram. Or, maybe 1 or both sticks are BAD.

Try a stick at a time or other ram or reseating.

ok that helps somewhat and makes sense. The other mobo got fried so i am assuming it took the ram with it most likely.
