ATI TV Wonder VE is not capturing sound

Hello, I have a TV ATI Wonder VE, which I can use to capture TV SHOWS. The card has a cable in, audio in (jack--like in the back of vcrs), and an audio out.

I have a creative emuk10k1 audio processor and my card has four holes in the back of it...black, green (for my speakers) and two others.

If I hook up my VCR to the Cable in jack, I can record the video---but not the sound. Any ideas hwo I can get the sound?

well first of all your audio-out has to be connected to the line-in of your soundcard.is there any internal audio connector on the card,if so than it might resolve issues with lag and dubbing otherwise the cards audio out has to be connected to your line in by a male jack connector.it should all be there in your manual.if youre getting audio while watching shows and not while recording its probably has something to do with the drivers etc not the hardware or the audio line.so are you getting audio while you watch live shows?
