AVG Update problem

I have just switched my server, moving from dial-up to Ethernet Lan port.
The AVG update asks for a dial-up address. How do I set this to access
AVG via my Lan port?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Click control center/update manager/settings/dialup and untick the Use Dial up connections box. Click apply/ok.

Then click control center/update manager/properties and untick the Do Not Ask for Update Source box. Click apply/ok.

AVG should now ask you where you want to update from, when you click on update.

Works fine. I missed the first action but had got the second less
obvious one.
