It looks like Windows installation is beyond repair and your only option is to reinstall Windows.

Yes, I was also coming to that conclusion, do you think the damage was caused by the malware? I hope I can retrieve all my emails from outlook, although I do have True image back up, but I suspect it's infected with what ever caused all this mess.
I'll have a look at reinstall in the morning, it's now 12:40 here in the UK.
I've sent you some beer vouchers, for you kind help and support in trying to resolve my issues.
Also, what anti virus/malware product would you recommend? happy to pay for it...
