Best Motherboad And Cpu For Gaming?

Im looking to put toghter a 1200$ gaming computer any help would be great

This looks like a good motherboard.
And I would recommend this for the processor. I'm not sure how much RAM you want, or what video card you were thinking of, but if you need help with those just say so.

Getting an Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 and a 7900GT would help u towards that goal. The rest can be left upto ur personal choice.
Check out the config I posted in this thread too. Except the processor and maybe the video card, everything else seems to fit in nicely. And the price in it is in CAD, which leaves u a lot more room for choosing better RAM, video card(s), PSU, processor etc.
