BF2 problem low FPS

Hi,i am new here and I need help with a Battlefeild 2 problem,when I start a singleplayer server,the fps starts at 30 and it runs good from there,but when i play for about a minuite and then it rockets down to 15 and 15 is the lowest it will go and it is really anoying,I want to know how can i get it higher without a new video card.

It's more likely your video card, and the only thing you could possibly do is turn the settings all the way down. Other then that your not going to get any better, the reason your fps is so high at first is because nothings really happening yet, but when you get moving around, vehicles, explosions, people, gun fire and such affect it alot. Also you can possibly turn down the resolution. ( If possible )

Check your background processes. I also play BF2. Also make sure your drivers are up to date.
