Building a new extreme gaming PC

I am going to build the Luxury system in TechSpot's PC buying guide. I decided to change the GTX 570s with GTX580s in 3-Way SLI. This means I also have to change the power supply unit. Has the Corsair AX 1200w got enough connectors and power to run the entire system? Or can you suggest a better PSU?f

That power supply has six 6+2 pin PCI-E cables and will provide more than enough power for your build.

Thank you, sir. Would you recommend going for 12 GB of RAM?

Anything 8GB and up should be fine. More is always better of course, but seems most gaming rigs don't see huge improvements over 8gb

If your going that route, 12/16GB RAM should be a serious consideration. Your certainly not going to miss the additional increase in cost if you're happy paying for a 3xSLI capable motherboard, not to mention 3x GTX580s at $500 a pop.
