I put it on my mini a week ago. The only reason I did was for Ogg Vorbis playback, which works fine. The interface is ok, but you'll have to get used to different controls than regular iPod firmware -- the biggest difference for me was the lack of the ability to press Select and scroll through a long song, as opposed to simple fastforwarding... My average mp3/aac is 2 hours in length, and sitting there holding fastforward just wasn't cutting it, so I've since gone back to regular iPod firmware. Also, during playback of music, I think it was Select that went back a menu, not Menu... Kinda counter-intuitive (or atleast with respect to the original firmware). YMMV
