Cannot View DVD on my computer (Disk Format message appears)

My IT dept. is at a loss for a solution to the following problem I'm having.

When trying to view a DVD, I'm getting the pop-up:

The Disk is not Formated
Do you want to Format it now?

I'm able to view it on my DVD player at home, and my IT dept. has installed the DVD driver and software, and we've viewed another DVD to make sure that it works, and it does.

dvd NOT VIEWING

Sounds like you need a firmware update on the office DVD player. Go to the manuf website and look in Downloads. Pay close attention to the instructions because you can destroy (corrupt driver logic) on the DVD player if you don't do it right.

If it's a burned DVD some older players won't recognise it. Only solution is firmware upgrade if the manuf has made one!
