Can't run HiJack this nor any other spy program remover

My fonts are all squished and messed up.. I knew something was wrong so I tired to run HiJack this and my other spy cleaning software - when I OPEN it - I see it flash on the screen and disappear. I cannot run them at all (making me crazy cause I know something is wrong). Also, anytime I tried to search "virus, spyware, etc..." the brower just MAGICALLY and evil-ly closed itself. Cna anyone help me?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly, or in your case, as many as you can.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.
