I always sensed that you think you're the only person in the world who matters.Other people’s opinions about my beliefs are irrelevant
just imagine how many people would be in jail if those that spread hatred towards Trump on a dialy basis, held dolls of bloody cut of fake heads of Trump and so on. The entire demoncrat party would be in jail.Just imagine if Trump was held accountable for his Tweets...
(sorry, but someone was going to bring him into this thread eventually!)
Same with the King of England... but there's more progress on this side of the Ocean...During ancient time, speaking anything remotely bad toward the Emperor of China and off go the heads of your entire three generation of your family. I'd say 6 months of jail is a huge improvement over that.
Mr. Nguyen, can you f***ing read?During ancient time, speaking anything remotely bad toward the Emperor of China and off go the heads of your entire three generation of your family. I'd say 6 months of jail is a huge improvement over that.

So tell me, Mr. "Nerves". Since you're calling yourself "a gamer", do you talk smack while you're gaming, or do you report people who do?Why is it so hard to just be civil?....
Obviously the article pretty much went woosh over your head."When in Rome do as the Romans do".
Yup, that about sums it up. China's government is filled with nit-wits with weak self-esteems and fragile ego's. Very pathetic.Poor kid. That's some seriously fragile ego to be incapable of standing up to mild jokes from a non entity like a young student based in another country.
Mr. Nguyen, can you f***ing read?
Constitution of United States of America 1789 (rev. 1992)
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
On those first two, you are correct. On that last one, it very much depends what nations are being compared. If comparing to China, you're completely delusional, for the reason illustrated by the events focused on by this very article.I can read. And since I'm not an US citizen I couldn't care less what is in the US constitution. The US is not the whole world, US laws do not apply everywhere, and the US standard or "way of life" are not better or worse than other countries.

But I have been. I know first hand what it's like in China, and I'll tell you the United States is a greatly better country to live in, by a far margin. If you don't live in China then your judgement on their system is also bias.
Population has nothing to do with this issue. You're not sidestepping to shift the focus of context.China has over 1.5B of people, they have their own way to keep just that many people in check, imagine a United State that has 1.5B people do you really think that the current living standard would still be the same? If yes, then you're the delusional one.
Fixed. Freedom of speech and expression is a universal human right suppressed by a government with no sense of justice, only a sense of tyranny. The student in the article is still a Chinese citizen therefore he has the lack of rights and unreasonable obligations of a Chinese citizen doesn't really matter when his current residence is.
Then read this, if our late night comics were in China, they'd all have been executed by now, Steven Colbert in particular.I can read. And since I'm not an US citizen I couldn't care less what is in the US constitution. The US is not the whole world, US laws do not apply everywhere, and the US standard or "way of life" are not better or worse than other countries.
Oh come on, you think Techspot is allowed through the great firewall of China? Why do you present your opinion so positively toward China's Communist regime? Is it because you're afraid they're reading your posts?
