Click.vnn.bz stuff

[Niteblood]

Whenever I type anything into the adress bar of my internet explorer it gets re-directed to click.vnn.bz/whatever the site is, and gives a link to the actual site

this is extremely irritating and I would like to know how to get rid of this

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

For your click.vnn.bz problem, do the following.

Download the attached .zip file, unzip it and double click on the resulting .reg file. You will be prompted to merge it into your registry, click yes.

Then, go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.
