Computer loses internet every few days. Must reboot to restore

Suggest you DISABLE the PC Wifi - - it appears to still have a connection.

I have no idea what 10.50.0.1 is but it's definitely not a router. I only have one connected at the moment.

I just successfully installed the latest firmware for my router, no thanks to faulty information on the linsksys website causing unnecessary confusion.

It looks like my NIC is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. the driver is version 7.103.1007.2016

I have no idea how to disable wifi when there is no device connected. Is there a windows setting I should be able to find somewhere?
In the Device Mgr ->right click on the WiFi adaptor->Disable (it can be enabled later same way)

I was certain that my USB WiFi receiver....
A USB wifi device dosn't show up there (sigh)

Control Panel->Network & Sharing
Left panel -> Manage WIFI networks
Disconnect / Forget all that show-up

Must be a different setup in windows 10 or something. I don't see Manage Wifi Networks anywhere. I tried searching for it but came up empty.

Right now, TCP sees
Your PC(192.168.1.136) -->Router(192.168.1.1)--->Router(10.50.0.1)-->the Cable ISP gateway.
I know you said that's not possble, but you have the problem and TCP is reporting that path. IMO you need to knock 10.50.0.1 out of the path by any means and test again.

That gives evidence you have NO WIRELESS on the PC

I have no idea how to go about doing that. I don't even know what the 10.50.0.01 is!

The WAN port (or Uplink) on the Linksys MUST be directly cabled to the Modem.

I bet it's connected to 10.50.0.1 instead
