Confused for new phone

Okay, so the last phone I owned was the HTC Desire 10 Pro which was really good on paper but gave me a whole lot of problems because supposedly, there was a battery problem that came straight from the factory. That got fixed but then the phone broke so now I'm looking for a new phone. After getting some recommendations and doing some research, I found out that the Nokia 8 is a really good phone which can perform on par with some of the best but the problem I have with it is screen size- it's just 5.3 in and I like big phones. But then I look at another phone and get confused again and this has repeated countless number of times. Currently, I'm confused between the Nokia 8 and the HTC U11. Both are really good phones and the U11 has a large screen. I'm kinda sceptical about buying the HTC due to the problems I had with the Desire. Can anyone tell me which among these is the better one all around or suggest me a phone with similar, if not better specs at the current price point of around 1500 AED or around 400 USD or less?

I'll recommend you HTC U11.
If you are selfie user like me, I can tell you that its front camera has 16 megapixel with aperture number f/2.0. Another pluses are it's water resistance and fast Charging capabilities.
Good luck!

I suggest the LG G6 thats right on par with the HTC U11 if not better at times.

I know you want that htc u11 but as you can see in the link below its a pretty steep price tag over 400 dollars.

If you can stay away from apple phones, they are so stingy about petty stuff with their services, stores, and settings.
Its not worth the migrane if something goes wrong with it or god knows what in the distant future.

Go to a store like best-buy or electronic department store, find those phones and choose one that feels good to hold in hand and pants pocket and has less os lagging moments.

HTC work good only for a year maximum and then many problems appear. Nokia doesn't seem to me as a good choice these days.. I also had HTC and then I bought Xiaomi and I'm totally happy! They have big screens, amazing batteries and good design. Moreover the price is really low in comparison with other companies. You have to check it for sure.

Maybe its me but I find HTC just to be abit too chunky, boring, expensive to fix if you drop it or break it by accident.
The last nokia I had for windows phone, its really good phone, their batterys have gotten much better since 2010.
