Core i5 6600k OC to 4.2 GHz and 1050 Ti

I am finding brutal cpu bottlenecks in every game I play and barely any of the 1050ti used. What could be the problem?

That CPU should not be a bottleneck for that GPU in any scenario. There is something else at play. I have a system with a stock 6700k and my 3060 easily achieves 97-100% usage in any scenario.

I found that reseating my cpu and ram before reinstalling windows fixed the problem.

I think I didnt reinstall windows after switching to a new motherboard.
