I am getting this error and I know what it is and why it is doing it for the most part though the disk I am trying to copy isn't that badly scratched.
Now I remember a few years ago a friend told me a way to get it so the drive or dvdshrink wouldn't do this anymore but for the life of me I have forgotten.

Any help is always appreciated.

Some burners read scratched discs better than others. One trick that has worked for me is to use window/glass cleaner and a green scouring pad. Wipe the scratched disc in a radial motion using the pad, all the way around the disc. Wash off the cleaner and dry the disc. Try reading it once more

Yeah well thats the thing the disc wasn't hardly scratched at all. Plus as I was saying a friend a few years ago told me how to change a setting I believe in the hardware setting on Windows so that problem went away, course I could be mistaken since this was 4-5 years ago. Though I do clearly remember having this problem and she did help me fix it but the how she helped me is the problem.
