I am wanting to set up dual monitors connected to my laptop. I’ve not had good success thus far. I have a new Acer Spin 3 with I7 and 16GB. I have a 24” dell monitor that is about 4 years old and a new 24” Acer monitor.
The ports on the laptop include one HDMI, one USB 3.1 and one USB 2.0 port
The monitors have:
Dell 4 years old...three mini display ports, two display ports, one HDMI and one USB type B.
Acer monitor has one VGA, one HDMI and one DVI port.
The endgame is to have the two 24” monitors as separate screens. I don’t really care about the laptop screen. How best to connect these up? Again, thank you for your insights!
