Hi,
I'm building a high performance DAW
My setup was going to be;
SSD - OS and Programs
500GB SATA 32MB - Storing Audio
4GB DDR3 (NOT DDR2)
The audio will be sent through my soundcard (pci), through the ssd (through Cubase) and then saved to the 500GB HDD, but will the write speeds of the ssd hamper the overall performance? Would it be a better idea to use a 10k rpm HDD for the OS and programs?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
