Dell Vostro internal mic not working

Everytime I turn on my Laptop it pops up a little box saying:


Can someone help me resolve this please!

Before I can propose a solution, I need some more information. Please do the following: go to the start menu, type in "Device Manager", and click on "Device Manager" in the list. Go down to the section called "Sound, video, and game controllers" and collapse the section. Either take a screenshot of that section or type in what devices are listed in that section.

Ok so I was looking at the Cirrus Logic site and I was unable to find a concise driver download, so I am going to need some more information so that we can find the official driver from Dell. Can you provide me with the exact model number of the PC (what is the exact make of the PC)? Thanks.

Thank you. Go over to the official Dell driver download page for your Dell Vostro 2520 and download and install the audio driver. You should be good to go.
