I'm having trouble with my DVD-ROM drive. It's a Samsung SD-616T. I've had my computer for about 2 years now. I recently purchased a game on DVD-ROM and when I try to install it, nothing happens. It acts as if there is nothing in the drive. At first I thought it was just the disc, but when I try any DVDs they are not recognized at all. The drive otherwise works fine, as it reads any CD-ROMs, audio CDs, and CD-Rs perfectly, but with DVDs, nothing. I've updated the firmware for my DVD player, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drive, and nothing has worked. Anyone else have any tips? Oh, and for the record, I know my computer used to be able to play DVDs, but I don't know when this problem began, because I haven't tried for a long time before this.
