  1. Emachines CURSE!

    Specs: eMachines T2642: 2.60 Ghz Intel Celeron Processor, 40 GB Harddrive, 256 MB DDR RAM, 64 MB Intel Extreme Graphics AGP, Windows XP Home Problem: Will not boot up, when you turn it on the light in the front flashes and you can hear the fan in the power supply running, but it doesnt go onto boot up mode, Please help i really need it!'

    The most common cause of what you are describing in a emachine is a dead mobo.

    yet ANOTHER (is this this 10,000 one?) thread of a problematic emachine. I think there ought to be a class action lawsuit against this manufactuer for selling such shoddy products.
