I have an eMachines (Gateway) LT that runs slow (crawls) after comng out of sleep or hibernation mode. Only fix is to reboot. Just started doing this, owned it about a year. GW tech support totally worthless, worse than M$, can't ever talk to a real person, just emails with poor english. Tech Spt did suggest rolling back to various restore point dates and see what happens, may be an OS patch issue. Tried that by going back to when I think it started with no positive results. Can't keep guessing when it started so I've pretty much decided to save all my data and reload the OS (Vista). If anyone has any other ideas, I'd love to read them. I can post specs later.
