EMC Backup

I set Roxio Backup to do a backup of mydocuments every Friday. When my computer started doing strange things yesterday, I rebuilt in. After quite a long while trying, I finally managed to find the 'Launch_Retrieve.exe' file (I backed up to an external hard drive). There's a fle in my backup (about 2000 out of 4100) 'windowsupdate.log' that it keeps on getting stuck on. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

It probably can't overwrite the existing windowsupdate.log. Does Roxio give you an option to skip it?

something you might consider doing is backing up to a second HD. it might be easier. Just do a windows XP backup to the second drive.
