A few years ago there was quite a bit of news around a 'external graphics card' which plugged into laptops.
There are a few images on the net too, but these days you don't hear anything about it.
Do you think the ideas failed, or some big company like NVidia just bought them out?
How likely/possible is an external graphics card (one you can plug into a range of laptops for gaming purposes)
