Extreme low framerate during fmv/cutscenes in games

Been having a problem with some menus/cutscenes in some games (dynasty warriors 4 hyper/warhammer 40000 dawn of war/need for speed most wanted/the matrix path of neo) having framerates measurable in spf (i.e. very slow.)

The in-game graphics are fine, running smoothly at high quality settings, but certain cuts and menus jerk along sluggishly, not responding well to keyboard input.

Have tried updating drivers/games, to no avail. Don't know what to try next.
Any suggestions?

Perhaps your system cannot handle the graphics..... you didn't post your specs.

I thought that too until I checked his profile. I want to compliment Spooky Donkey for being one of the few new posters who bothered to fill out his profile. Unfortunately, I don't have a solution to his problem at the moment or I would have posted before.

In checking some of the games he listed, some are not very demanding.

Forgot to install proper drivers for motherboard etc..

All working now.
