    Hi FameCity23,
First of all, does either or both your desktop or laptop have LAN capabilities?
If so, i is then a very simple process

go to My Computer on the laptop, right click on the drive with the files you want on it. In properties click the tab titled Sharing. half way down, you'll see
Share this Folder on the Network. Click the box so there is a tick in it, just under that you'll see a Allow Network Users to Change My Files, click that so there is a tick in that too. Now repeat this step for you're desktop. Network places for the hard drives should automatically be created after doing this, provided that both laptop and the desktop are on the smae network.
