Fragmented SSD drive.. Should I be concerned?

I have read all the many posts on why you should NOT defrag a SSD drive.

But every time I do a Windows Update, my Samsung EVO SSD gets 15%- 20% fragmented.

With the drive fragmented this much, should I be concerned? Would it be OK to defragment the drive at this point?

Thanks for any help.

Scott

P.S.
I use Defraggler instead of the Windows defrag program.

The reason FOR running defrag is that physical disk files with fragmentation require the head to be moved for every fragment. A file with 15-30 fragments would then add 15-30 x the seek delay of the device and performance of the read would be poor.

As a SSD has NO SEEK DELAY, the performance is still the same as a file with no fragments

You shouldn't defrag an SSD. It will shorten the life of the drive. There are no moving parts to an SSD. Defrag will only benefit a mechanical drive. I have 3 SSDs in my desktop, running Windows 7 Pro.

You might like Linux Q4OS. You'll never have to worry about a virus or malware, because of the way Linux is designed.
