Game crashes HELP!

My monitor keeps saying out of freq range every time i try to load a game.
Anybody with any ideas?

In case you want to know

Pentium 4 3.0ghz
P4S800 M/B
1.5gb ram
Nvidia 6600gt AGP8
120gb maxtor hdd

any help much appreciated

Whay make is the monitor?
You may want to try dropping from 85 hz to 75,
There should be a drop down menu to "show only refresh
rate this monitor supports" if not
go to the monitor web site to get the driver or *.inf file.

The monitor is an LG Studioworks 775N which is perfectly capable of running at 85 HZ which is the highest it will go.

It is allready set up to hide modes that this monitor can not display.
Have tried mypc on another monitor but is still the same problem.

I have uninstalled my games and going to put back on to see if that makes a difference.

Great news! (for me)

Have uninstalled my games and put them back on and it works again.
Cant understand what went wrong but Battlefield 2, Juiced, san andreas work again.
