Agreed, GN and HU are far more professional than TS. W1zard refuses to change his style of benchmarking, even though the community wish him to incorporate 1% lows within the average framerate graphs.

Yes, also benchmarking at Medium (or any lower settings) so we can see what our lower end cards are capable of is more valuable for more cards than just Ultra For All™.

Eh, I'll take it even though it can highlight how fast things are moving on. Still undecided about the game now (as much as I have enjoyed the Gears series, bar the two I missed) nm my backlog, other releases etc... but nothing a few months of patches, drivers and a discount can't fix lol.

Such as it is, my weak point rn even running 3440x1440 is probably the 5800X, with the 7900XTX being able enough. Will have to see what FSR 3/4 can offer here.
Aside from that it's the laptop: 6800H/3070ti... but here I'm happier to drop settings some to work around as I have had to for some time already. That one is what it is.

Ppl will try too hard to box themselves up. Sure, we all have preferences I guess and maybe some things can get to be a little too much for the sensitive. But didn't most of us, even the manliest of men, enjoy being Lara Croft or Ellie or Chloe Frazer or Senua or whoever for a few hours?

I know I did so I could care less about edge cases. If I really need to avoid things, I'll do just that, but had I not been open to a good many things I would have missed much of good in life.
Buy the game, or don't. Play the game, or don't. But either way get on with ye, I say.

There are plenty of good UE5 games. It’s just the poorly made ones that grab headlines

What is telling, is that the minimum frame rate of the 5090 is the same as the maximum frame rate of the 5080. And after approx 2 years, the 4090 is still beating the 5080.

Also telling: the minimum frame rate of the 9070 XT is higher than that of a 5090 at 1440p + high settings. Is the hardware scheduler of AMD flexing it's muscles here? Nvidia GPU's seem GPU limited at a.o. 1440p Balanced Upscaling.

Any idea how time consuming all that is lol.

With a high end gaming CPU and "that" graphics card you kind of know what to expect. Results will differ obviously, but this is a good rule of tumb.

According to your failed logic you need to experience something prior to knowing, thus you have no idea what effect poison can have as you haven't eaten any. Of course this is a nonsensical fallacy that is only logical to the MODERN AUDIENCE.

As the target audience it's your duty to save this 'game' (propaganda) by buying thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of copies.
