Getting random purple screen of death

Getting random purple SOD. Thinking its my new video card (Radeon HD 5450). Got it to support dual monitors. This is my work computer and I keep forgetting my second monitor at home and have my current one hooked up to new card in PCI slot. Old card is integrated into motherboard so I can't take it out.

Suggestions?

Edit:
Have googled stuff before this post. I have seen other locale ID 1033 problems have been with video card, that's why I assumed it was relevant....

SOD, do you mean BSOD? Minidump files are located here:
C:\windows\minidump. Minidump files do have a .dmp extension. You select all the .dmp files, right-click and send the files to a compressed(zipped)folder. Upload that folder as a file here

Yeah I did mean BSOD but the B part stands for blue and the screen is purple, not blue. I am not at work and won't be until Monday. Thanks for the response though....

I know how to zip files. First week at job...Stressful...Honestly don't know why I didn't do that in the first place.....Few drinks down at this point...

Will post to this probably dead thread Monday

Trying to send to zip, keep getting "file not found or No Read permission"
Only user on computer...And I can see the files..

Whenever I change permissions in folder properties, it changes back....

Still getting not found/no permission message. I even took out new video card and just reconnected to old card that is integrated to motherboard. Have not had a BSOD yet. Still can't zip the minidump though. No idea why.

Edit:
and MsMpEng.exe (associated with MSE I believe) sure takes a lot of RAM...

Copied .dmp files from that utility. Hope this helps

Yes Windows is fully updated and so is driver. I updated after I installed. There is not a single driver on the computer that is out of date.

note: create a system restore point before attempting this:
You need to perform a completely clean install to fix your issues or else problems will arise, follow carefully: go to add or remove programs, and search for amd. when you see catalyst install manager, click that and uninstall it. chose the express uninstall option. after this is complete, type into windows search, folder options, go to view, and under hidden files and folders, check the box that says "show hidden files". then go to you primary hard drive in my computer, and then find any ATI and AMD folders, delete them, and reboot. download this driver: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx
then download application profiles:http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx
^it is under the driver link

Win 7 64 Bit
Intel G640 @ 2.8GHz (Dual)
4 GB RAM
Radeon HD5450 was the new one that was having problems. I have since removed it and reconnected to old card that is integrated with motherboard.

I will try those links. So, disregard software that came in box with new card?

Yeah it is outdated, also you have a card that is 3 years old, so it will be very old on the CD. follow my steps and you should be good. also did you move from nvidia? just curious because this could bring in a lot of issues
