Google-redirect virus

I have seen similar posts, but none seem to be what I am encountering. When browsing any website, doesn't matter which, when I hover over a button for example, down on the bottom left where it shows the URL for the next page, it says google-redirect.com/etc. If I click it normally, it would bring me to a third party website. This does it on a lot of pages and I have tried various solutions to get rid of it with no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
