I am having a new problem with 100 or near 100% processor usage. I first thought it was due to Real Player although I have had Real player for years but when I looked at the processor usage there were 6 to 10 copies of real player process all using from 5-15 % of the CPU each. I uninstalled that and then Windows media player which was not running had a process taking up 10 to 15 % which I had to keep deleting just to get the computer to go on the internet to find help for this problem. When you look at one of the logs and it says processes were suddenly terminated that was me terminating things I was not using but were still taking up some cpu time so I could do other things. I ran my anti virus and did not find any thing and I ran the malware program you suggested and there was nothing found by it either. I have run CCleaner and I have down loaded firefox after being told that that would be faster then internet explorer that I normally use. It did not. Other that some programs having multiple copies of processors I have never seen anything that is actually taking up all the cpu time. Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.
