My computer is not leting me listen to music untill today it worked fine is says there is a sound card error how do I fix?? Please.

Maybe you need to install sound card drivers. Check if your sound card is being recognized by clicking start, run, type devmgmt.msc, press enter, and look for any exclamation points/question marks beside devices. If there are, they probably need drivers installed. If you want to find more out about your computer try downloading and installing Everest home edition.

Go to my post HERE and enter your system specs.

As vnf4ultra says, it may well be a driver problem.

If you have onboard sound, then you need to go to your mobo manufacturers website, and download the correct sound drivers.

If however, you have a seperate soundcard, then you will need to go to the soundcard manufacturers website for the correct drivers.
