Help re laptop-projector

Hi!

Im a newbie here..I have a laptop Neo notebook M54SE and I am having trouble connecting it on our XD1150 ACER projector.... The problem is I cant seem to see my desktop in the monitor of the projector. Please kindly help me with this cause I have to present some projects this Saturday...Thanks and God bless

How are you connecting the laptop to the projector? Have you enabled the "external monitor" from the laptop?

I tried it but only the wallpaper appears in the screen and not the desktop itself
