Hi guys! just wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I have been facing for a loooong time....

I got a D-Link DWA-140 RangeBooster N USB Adapter quite some time ago, and i am wondering if the location of the adapter (behind my cPU against a wall) was affecting the wireless connections because it is interfering with my connections....

anyone can help?

Yes, that sort of positioning, and the structural placement of solid brick walls will effect the wireless signal and strength. I'd advise getting a USB extension cable to relocate it higher up on the wall for example to give it the best signal.

Have old AM radio put that on a station that is quiet. Then walk around the room and see where your interference is coming from. If you find a quiet station without the static that's the best place to place your WiFi Router at.
