Hi! I cant install Windows XP Pro because SP2 is already installed. I receive an error message stating it cant install because a newer version is already installed. When I get to solutions it tells me to restart my computer and boot from the xp pro cd. I tried this a few times but still get the same message. *Keep in mind* *I may not have known what I was doing, as I am a novice at this.*
not sure i completely understand how to change the boot order, do you just go in and edit the text? And the black start up screen, I got that after the order text change in bios, but I dont know what to do with it.
i fear i've really messed up, the child needed to use word today for homework and its uninstalled and I cant fix it!
