Please notice this, i want to leave McAfee, NVIDIA and Microsoft office alone... thanks.

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how HERE. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial56.html

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Go to add remove programmes in your control panel. Uninstall anything to do with(if there).

Macrogaming

Close control panel.

Click start/run and type regsvr32 /u C:\Program Files\Macrogaming\SweetIMBarForIE\toolbar.dll into the run box and press the enter key.

Run HJT with no other programmes open. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

R3 - URLSearchHook: SweetIM For Internet Explorer - {BC4FFE41-DE9F-46fa-B455-AAD49B9F9938} - C:\Program Files\Macrogaming\SweetIMBarForIE\toolbar.dll

O2 - BHO: SWEETIE - {1A0AADCD-3A72-4b5f-900F-E3BB5A838E2A} - C:\Program Files\Macrogaming\SweetIMBarForIE\toolbar.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SweetIM] C:\Program Files\Macrogaming\SweetIM\SweetIM.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SweetIM] C:\Program Files\Macrogaming\SweetIM\SweetIM.exe

O18 - Protocol: msnim - {828030A1-22C1-4009-854F-8E305202313F} - "C:\PROGRA~1\MSNMES~1\msgrapp.dll" (file missing)

Click the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Locate and delete the following bold files(if there).

C:\Program Files\Macrogaming\SweetIM\SweetIM.exe

C:\Program Files\Macrogaming\SweetIMBarForIE\toolbar.dll

Reboot into normal mode and turn system restore back on.

Get rid of all the McAfee stuff and get AVG free and Zonealarm free instead. Your system will run a lot faster.

Delete all temp files and run a defrag.

When you`ve done that try doing a clean(ish) boot.Go into msconfig and uncheck everything except Mcafee,then restart the computer.

You be surprised how few processes really need to running.

No way i will get rid of Mcafee... I got this for free, it has everything i need...Firewall, Antivirus, AntiPhishing, AntiSpyware, Wireless Security, and SpamKiller... If this caused a lag on my computer during game, i just turn it all off.. simple... i will remove the MacroGaming... thanks.

I set the Norton Systemworks - Speeddisk and One Button Checkup to run every friday.. works great ^^

Curious... how bad was that SweetIM? is it only breach on what?
