    From my experience YouTube seems to forget after year or so. Maybe it remembers in some other way but videos seem to lose the "Watched" notation and the red bar after awhile.

    But it's very easy to clear your history in YouTube. What is the sense of your separate article then? As for me it's very convenient to see only new videos and have seen one checked like seen.

    As easy as pie:
    Select Clear all watch history to delete your entire history.
