How to install IE7 in Win2000?

There used to be a solution for installing IE7 in Win2k on the win2kgaming forum. But that forum is not available right now, so I would like to know if anyone had saved the information and links showing you how to accomplish this task.

Instructions

Download Internet Explorer 7 (see Resource) and save the file to a directory on your computer. Close all other opened programs on your computer and save any currently open work.

Double-click "IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe" in the downloaded directory. The installation wizard opens. Click "Next" in the opening screen.

Click "I accept" in the license acceptance window. Click the "Validate" button on the next screen. This verifies the current installed copy of Windows is valid. Click "Next" after the validation.

Check the box labeled "Install the latest updates for Internet Explorer and the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool." This updates your software for any security issues and known program bugs. Click "Next."

Click "Restart Now (Recommended)" after the installation completes. You do not need to reboot immediately, but Internet Explorer does not run properly until the computer is rebooted.
