I have an old HP Pavillion, from which I wanted to retrieve a few parts (xtra HD & DIMM) before giving it away. I must have done something wrong putting it back together. I heard a good static spark, and it now refuses to run. Did I wreck: a.The Mobo,b.the power supply, or c. All of the Above? I see that these parts can be had cheaply on Ebay, but I don't wnat to get a new mobo, only to zap IT with a bad power supply. How can I test them seperately?
