Anybody can help me with hdd master password for my laptop.

I have the same problem, it seems that the shorting mode doesn't work with latitude d620.

HP 9010 my Hash code 14190
Hi Dear
i have done a lot googling on this topic & found many things related to unlocking like atapwd, Hard Disk Sentinel, HDD Rock from YEC, Ultrec, Vogon, AFF Laboratory, Data track LABS ....... & many more but none of them was free except atapwd but it will format the whole drive tooo so i cant use it to unlock my drive
i also contact HP but they refused to give any solution bcos my 1 year warranty was over .......this made me really depressed that there is no solution & now everybody has become money oriented or where those genuine people has gone who help ordinary people like us with there deep knowledge
then luckily i read your post on the techspot & felt happy that i was wrong & there r still good people who r always open to help
well if i just have write my HP 9010 my Hash code 14190 & asked for master pass you would have given it but why i write this much big story ........ just bcos for those people who r money oriented they should take a lesson and just once feel the feeling when people like us give heartily blessing & respect when our problems r solved .........

I would like to re-state to all New members, that there are FREE alternatives, than paying high costs.
Before deciding to accept any message on how you can pay to receive your passwords:
1. Read this entire thread (you are currently on) On many laptops, the passwords can be freely removed
2. Dell will supply you a password for under $40 only
3. Shop around. There are many pay for services out there, quite a few at eBay, and basically a Google search will find hundreds!

Q-If I buy such a master password that matches to my service tag - what happenes ?
A-if you get the master pass then your problem will be solved
Q-Is it unlocked for ever or do I have to install windows new ?
A-it will be unlocked for ever & dont need to install anything it will be in the same position
before it was locked
Q-What exactly do I have to do ?
A-you just have to get the master pass

this is pretty much my last chance effort trying to get my laptop unlocked... i have a service tech schedualed to come to my house... in about 3 hours to come unlock my bios.... it's costly but it it works it's worth it..... although i'm still hopin someone will help me here b4 he gets here so i can cancel him cause i got help here... but that's prolly hoping to much on the 595B code so i'll just keep an eye on here hoping some poor soul helps

I spend about 30 or 40 hours in searching for a 595B password generator or another way to solve that problem. I did read everything I could find in dutch, german, english and even russian language discussion forums in internet. Without a result that works (I didn´t try the opening and short-out EEPROM method - that´s way to violent to me).

i know there are some pple here ( weither they are active still or not idk) with the 595B generator but if one of them does tel me pass b4 this tech guy gets here ( highly unlikely but would b greatly apreciated) then i'd b extremly gratefullthat makes 2 service techs that haven't been able to fix this darn laptop.......
