Remove dell inspiron password

Hello everyone
I am a new comer, I have got a problem with my computer for a while - forgot bios password, here is the service tag: 6W1671X, express service code:14997580340, I bought this Dell Inspiron 4150 from a used computer store in China, and brought with me to Canada now, called Dell and my phone was transferred again and again till line dropped, can anybody help me?

Yes I've noticed that hpgl seems to be very particular on selecting members to help
As if, those members may even be known to him, it is very strange :confused:

can anybody create a master password for #4SD1ZD1-595B,i am a newbie so dont know much about dell laptops

the model is dell inspiron 1520,i would need the password for admin and hdd both.

hey my friends need your help with #4SD1ZD1-595B the bios version is A03.its a dell inspiron 1520.i would need the master password,i am a newbie so dont know where to find eeprom and how to short it.i would need the bios password as well as hdd password.

Amilo xi1526 BIOS password problem

I cannot use my laptop (a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo xi1526) since two weeks ago due to the overwriting of my BIOS password when I recently installed an Alienware BIOS in order to be able to use 4Gb of RAM (Fujitsu BIOS doesn't support them). And yes, I forgot to remove my old password... and the fact that the BIOS installed isn't the Fujitsu one make the codes that the support team gave me don't work.

I found an Atmel eeprom near the ram, the AT93C46, where I suppose the password BIOS is stored. What can I do? (other than pay a Fujitsu technician in order to do what I am able to do at my university -I studied physics and I have access to all the microelectronics material that I would need, including an eeprom writer supporting this memory-)

I read about short circuiting the eeprom on Dell laptops, and I've found a CMOS password decrypting tool (cgsecurity wiki page) that seems to not support my laptop (I suppose that the password is encrypted too, and that I will not manage to solve the problem just reading the eeprom nor writing it all with zeros, am I right?).

Does any one have the original content of that memory? I would be very grateful if you can send it to me or upload it to any site (I am assuming that this content will not depend on the serial number, but I could be wrong).

hp r not like dell!! that service tag is useless....you need 5digits hash code or error code
try to get it after 3 wong time password.

hi i'm new on here. This is my 1st post. I spend a lot of time overclocking using dry ice and ln2 and know my way around computers pretty well but lack experience with laptops since they are not really overclocking material.

I attended a lan party at a friends church last weekend and the pastor asked me if I knew anything about computers. i told him I am experienced with windows computers and explained my interest in overclocking. He asked me if I could help him get the password for his laptop. I figured he made a windows password and forgot it. I told him that was no problem and I would help him out. I get the laptop and turn it on and it goes to a gray screen asking for a password. I was scratching my head thinking what did I sign up for?

Next I searched google on info on how to reset a bios password. Normally with a desktop motherboard I would just reset the cmos jumper and that is it. SO now I'm thinking I need to take the whole thing apart to find the cmos battery or a jumper. I found the service docs on the dell site to take it apart. I figure I have no experience with laptop hardware so this will be a good learning experience for me. After about an hour of taping tiny screws to a sheet of paper and l writing notes next to them showing where they came from and taking pics to help me put it all backtogehter I finally get the board out and find the battery. I took the battery out and reattached the keyboard and lcd cables ad dimms I turn it on and I get teh same gray screen! Now I'm just completely confused. So I start scouring the net and found a web page that explains the bios is stored on eeprom and the only way is to short it by jumping 2 pins.etc. Then I found this forum and saw a post that says you can't short the eeprom on the xps M1530. Only way is by software. So here I am with the laptop completely disassembled and on 4 hrs of sleep from staying up all night scouring the internet trying to find a solution. So I'm asking if anyone can help me out. I'd hate to just give up and put it all back together and tell him I couldn't help him after all the time I devoted to this. However I did learn a lot about laptops. Let me know if you can help.

I got a "Dell Latidude D520" and i can´t boot, because it´s protectetd by a password, which i don´t know.

I only get a Tag: #6RSCT2J-595B

Any ideas?

HI, read ur posts about dell x200 bios password removal. cud u please help me with the same problem. after 3 unsuccessful tries I get this error code. "06064" please send me the password for my laptop.
