Hyperlink Problem

ok, i posted this in the OS section, but i feel it fits this section better.

When i attempt to open a hyperlink with IE, it sends me to C://documents and settings/me (basically my documents folder). I have tried several different links, all with the same result.

This just started happening two nights ago, and to my knowledge, i have not changed any settings. Any help will be greatly appreciated

From what I read somewhere it has something to do with the security settings in IE.

Thanks, as it ends up, ive decided to jump to mozilla, as ive heard MANY good things about it. I wasn't going to mess around in IE settings, because i would likely make whatever the problem was worse :knock: ... Mozilla is now opening the hyperlinks... thanks again for your help

use mozilla suite - it's far better than firefox
