I have a problem with a D-Link WBR-2310 Wireless Router

My problem is in my aunt's wireless network. About a year ago I helped her set up a network for her new laptop. And everything was working just fine until about 2 weeks ago. Were she would be able to access the internet with her laptop, now she can't. I've checked the cables and the setup, nothing has changed. No shock there. But for some reason the computer will see the network but not connect to the net through the router. What gives?

This might be a problem with the laptop and not the router. What operating system is on the laptop? Has your aunt recently applied or updated any software on her laptop?
