I have a red ink on my LCD monitor

I got a E156FP 15" monitor it has a red mark bottom lower left screen.

It could be 1 of 3 things.

1. Red ink from a pen.

2.Stuck pixel. ( even was visible when monitor turned off.

3. A scratch. But it looks red ?

make sure you dont have any speakers or magnets clost to your monitor

LCD's won't be affected by magnets, at least not any common ones.

Unless its physically damaged AND has some sort of way to get a backlight while its off, its not a stuck pixel.

Put some isopropyl alcohol on a paper towel, or tissue, or cloth and then try to gently rub the mark out.

SNGX is right. Magnets don't do anything to LCDs. If the mark is showing up with it is turned off, it cannot be a stuck pixel or a dead pixel. It's a cosmetic thing.
