Important question about CPU mobo compatibulity

  1. I have this cpu on my old mobo:

    Field Value
    CPU Type Intel Pentium 4 630, 3000 MHz (15 x 200)

Will it be compatible with this mobo that i just bought?

I'm worried about this since i already bought the mobo and if it won't fit there's no way i can afford a new CPU.

Ok nevermind i was freaking out about the wrong numbers (i hope) because i read this spec under my cpu type

    Field Value
    Package Type 775 Contact LGA

which is a LGA775 CPU so it shuld totally fit right?

It is compatible as far as I know.

Some LGA775 CPUs don't work in LGA775 mobos (even though they physically fit), but that's usually because the CPU is too new for the motherboard. I think that in this case the motherboard is newer than the CPU, so the two should be compatible.

    Regards :)
