ipod formatting mac to pc

hi, i upload my music to my 30gb video ipod (macintosh formatted), i also have a pc. and i wont the music from both,
ive been told that i can upload music and videos from both if i have it windows format. so i go onto my macintosh and re format it to factory settings. then go to my pc and plug it in, and it says. its format is machintosh, and i cant restore it coz it wont connect to my internet!!! coz my DNS is still trashed, which i didnt get any help for! what the hell do i do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is an application out there where you can share music between an ipod and media player without having to use itunes
as far as i know you dont have to format your ipod at all.

if im honest i dont really understand what your trying to say .....
or are you just trying to share music between your pc and ipod
if its just for you then just use itunes

ill try and have a look for the program for you when i have time
