Is the GTX 550 Ti good enough?

Guys I've noticed that the gtx 550 ti is never really mentioned when recommending graphics cards, so i was wondering how good is it?, coz I was going to buy it.
So how good is it for the latest game titles?

At that price point the Radeon HD 6850 is a way better buy. It will perform worlds better that the 550 ti for about $20 more.
